Wedding Films in Colorado Springs: How to Share Yours Online Without Muted Music or Surprises

You can share your wedding film online without the music getting muted, because Peak Wedding Films are cut with licensed music, and nothing is posted publicly without your say-so. The rest comes down to a few choices you make before the film arrives. I'm Andrew with Peak Wedding Films in Colorado Springs, and this is how sharing works once your film is done.

How your film arrives

Your film arrives through a private, password-protected Vimeo link. You can stream it, share it and download it in full resolution. It opens on a phone, a laptop or a TV, so watching it takes one tap rather than hunting for a file.

Legacy package couples also receive a custom USB drive with all files. Everything is backed up for at least two years after delivery.

Why the music will not get muted

The most common worry about posting a wedding film is the soundtrack. Films are cut with licensed music, so a post is not a copyright problem waiting to happen.

If you have a song in mind for the film, raise it early. That gives time to check licensing before the edit, instead of finding out later that a favorite song cannot be used.

Who decides where your film shows up

Nothing is published without your say-so. Portfolio use is covered in your contract, and you can decline it there. Couples who want their film kept entirely private get that.

A few things worth deciding together before the wedding:

  • Whether your film can be shown as part of my portfolio
  • Who gets the private link, and whether they can share it further
  • Whether there are family members who should not appear in anything public

Sharing with family who could not be there

The private link is the simplest way to share with grandparents, friends overseas or anyone who missed the day. Send the link and the password together, and they can watch on whatever screen they have.

For a family gathering, playing the film on a TV is often the best way to watch it the first time. The vows and toasts land differently when the whole room can hear them.

Short cuts for social media

Long films are for watching. Social feeds want something short and vertical. A 60-second social reel is a vertical cut for Instagram and TikTok, so you have something to share the same week. The Feature and The Legacy include two social reels, and more can be added. You can see what each package includes, from film length to social reels.

Keep your own copy

Download your film in full resolution and keep it in more than one place: a computer, a cloud folder and a drive in a drawer. Backups are held for at least two years after delivery, but your own copies are what keep the film with you for the decades after that.

If you want every unedited minute of the ceremony and toasts, raw footage is available as an add-on and is delivered alongside your finished film. Add it at booking rather than afterwards.
