I grew up in Colorado Springs and fell in love with filmmaking through my family long before I understood what it would become. Over a decade ago, a close friend asked me to film their wedding, and something shifted. I was watching an entire story unfold in a single afternoon, and I had the chance to preserve it. I have been doing this full-time for six years. I have never once considered doing anything else.
What draws me to this work is the storytelling. I love hearing how two people found each other, sitting with them through their vows, watching the people they love most gather in one place. One of my favorite shots is a drone pull-out: it starts tight on the two of you, and slowly the frame opens to reveal everyone who loves you, the Rockies stretching behind them. That is the shot that reminds me why I do this.
My approach on your day is to stay out of the way. I will guide a few moments where it helps, but what I am mostly doing is watching. Weddings are beautiful chaos, and you will miss things while you are living inside them. That is where I come in. I capture what you could not see, the reaction you missed, the detail that made your day entirely yours.
I work with adventurous couples who value authenticity, whether you are planning an intimate ceremony in the Rockies, a destination wedding, or a traditional celebration at a venue you love. What I give you is a cinematic film you will return to for the rest of your life.
I share my home in Colorado Springs with my wife Emily and our golden mountain dog Freyja. When I am not behind a camera, I am on a trail, biking through the foothills, or working on my book. I tell you this because you are not hiring a vendor. You are inviting a person into the most important day of your life, and I think you should know who that person is.
These are the people who trusted me to tell their story. Here is how they felt when they watched it for the first time.
Andrew reached out before the wedding, scheduled a call to go through our timeline, and made sure he understood exactly what we were hoping for. When he arrived at the venue he checked in with us both personally and made note of every special request. He even brought his drone for a shot we were not expecting. The film he delivered was everything we had hoped for, and more.

Andrew captured the day beautifully and was able to bring his vision to life without ever getting in the way of the celebration. He was especially attentive from the beginning, reaching out multiple times through planning to make sure everything was covered. We would recommend him without hesitation.

If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Andrew without question. He made us comfortable in front of the camera, communicated beautifully throughout the day, and found the perfect balance between capturing the big moments and letting us be present with our guests. I am in love with our film.

From helping us with our timeline and vision for the day to actually capturing the event, Andrew had great communication with us throughout. He truly helped us fulfill our vision while also bringing creative ideas we would not have thought of ourselves. We cannot imagine having anyone else there for our day.

We were not entirely sure having a videographer was right for us, but looking back I would have been devastated not to have these memories. Andrew was calm, respectful, and blended in so well I barely noticed he was even there, yet he managed to catch all the little details, quiet glances, and raw emotions. The final films are absolutely beautiful. The cinematography is movie-like, the music choices perfect, and the editing brought us right back to every feeling of the day. Hands down the best decision we made for our wedding.

Super professional, clean work, and timely delivery. My wife and I hired Andrew for our wedding in Black Forest and have been incredibly pleased. His ability to see and set up beautiful shots is the reason we will continue to work with him and refer him without hesitation.

Anywhere in Colorado is fair game, and I genuinely love shooting in places that require a drive. For venues within about an hour of Colorado Springs, there is no travel fee. Beyond that, a modest fee for fuel or lodging may apply depending on the distance. I will always share that number before you book, so there are no surprises.
Peak season dates, June through October, tend to fill up 12 to 18 months out. If your date is coming up soon, please reach out anyway. A signed contract and retainer are what lock everything in, and I take only one wedding per day so your day always gets my complete focus.
Mountain weather is part of the story, not a problem to solve. Some of the most cinematic films I have ever made happened under dramatic storm skies. I carry weather-sealed gear and adapt in real time. If the timeline needs to shift, we shift with it and keep rolling.
Your film arrives through a private, password-protected Vimeo link you can stream, share, and download in full resolution. Legacy package couples also receive a custom USB drive with all files. Everything is backed up for at least two years after delivery.
You will have your film within 8 to 12 weeks of your wedding day, and usually sooner. I know you are going to want to watch it the moment it lands, and honestly, so am I. A short teaser typically arrives within two to three weeks. Rush delivery within two weeks is available as an add-on if you need it faster.
Life happens, and I do my best to work with you when it does. Your retainer transfers to a new date if I am available. If your new date is already taken on my calendar, I will connect you with a trusted colleague whose work I stand behind. The rescheduling terms are all laid out in your contract from the very beginning.
A twenty-minute conversation is usually all it takes to know if we are a good fit. We will talk through your day, your vision, what matters most to you, and what you want to walk away with. No pitch, no pressure.
Every wedding is different. Tell me about yours.
